Algarve 300hr Yoga Training: 1. Module (50hr)

300hr - First Module: 50hr Inbodhi Training (Rocket 1) 2-8 September 2023 

In this module we build on what we've learned in the Inbodhi 200hr programme or 3 Day Immersion and explore the Rocket 1 sequence. This module is designed to support current yoga instructors to learn the tools and techniques of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, through a modern, Western Perspective.

In this training we’ll deepen all the Main Ingredients of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practice and the philosophy and teachings of 8 limbs of Ashtanga Yoga on and off the mat. You will learn about the history of Ashtanga, and the lineage of Rocket Vinyasa. Larry Schultz designed this practice to wake up the nervous system and feed the precious prana, life energy. The spirit of change and freedom is found within the practice.

 Your practice will never be the same again, and the practice will start to change the way you live your life.

Sequences covered during this training: Full and Modified Primary & Rocket 1

• -  YA200 graduation & INBODHI immersion

THE VENUE

"Fazendinha" sits on its own property overlooking a valley, just 5 minutes from Tavira in the Algarve region of Portugal. The location is quiet and full of wildlife. All materials used in the reconstruction of the buildings are local -  cork is used as insulation and the renovation was done keeping the exact footprint of the old house as the owners believe the soul of past builders and tenants is thus kept. Every attempt was made to integrate in the natural countryside and all plants in the garden are relatively hardy and need little watering - thus saving our world's most important element. There are many different common areas, so all guests have a sense of privacy. Though the furnishings are simplistic, they are functional and you can feel at home. 

Fazendinha features underfloor heating (partially warmed by our solar panels) and a passive air conditioning system without internal blowers but condensing cupboards that work on thermosyphon, as well as its own swimming pool.
