About the Event
Jennie O'Halloran and Senuri Mahamithawa are back with another deep, relaxing Yin and Sound journey into the New Year.
We will be working with nourishing Yin Yoga poses associated with the winter season, combined with the healing power of live sound; inviting you to slow down, surrender and take some restful time for yourself.
Yin Yoga works with the meridians as well as the connective tissues of the body to help us let go of long held tension on every level. Supported by sound, meditation and some restorative elements, this practice can help us to let go of physical tensions as well as help to meet and resolve emotions and experiences we hold in our bodies.
Sound Baths offer the unique opportunity to allow the mind to be eased into a deeply relaxed and reflective state. Participants absorb a combination of rhythm, frequency and vibration whilst lying down peacefully. A collection of Gongs, crystal singing bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, drums, percussion and chimes will facilitate the inner journey, both in the room and placed on participants' bodies.
No previous yoga experience is necessary. Please wear warm, comfortable clothing and socks as your body temperature will drop during this passive, relaxing practice.
